Accelerating

innovation.

3f brings together digital finance leaders and finance scholars, alongside investors, regulators, policymakers and journalists from across the financial ecosystem.

Academic presentations are built to be useful to practitioners. Practitioner presentations are built to be interesting to researchers. Every session is professionally filmed and published, unless the speaker opts out, and networking runs through a dedicated app before, during and after the event.

The inaugural edition was held in Vilnius in August 2025. The second was held in Amsterdam on 5 June 2026, at nhow Amsterdam RAI, across five parallel rooms.

Finnovation Day

A year-round side-event series, city by city.

Finnovation Day is a series of curated fintech side-events organised by TechEmbassy and co-organised with 3f, running alongside the world's leading fintech conferences. It is led by FinTech Ambassador Svitlanka Sergiichuk.

Each edition combines startup pitches, expert content and curated networking, built for founders, investors, banks, infrastructure providers, technology leaders, researchers and policymakers. Every attendee is reviewed before approval.

Where 3f puts research and industry in one room for a day, the series carries the same conversation to the cities where fintech already gathers. The calendar is set by TechEmbassy and runs through the season.

Who can attend 3f?

Digital finance leaders, finance scholars, investors, regulators, policymakers, journalists and other key participants from across the financial ecosystem.

How do I register or apply to speak for 2027?

Registration and submissions for 2027 are not open yet. Write to info@3f.live to be notified, or to chair@3f.live for speaker enquiries. As in previous years, both will run through ConfTool.

What does a presentation look like?

Around 15 minutes, in a fast-paced programme. Slide-free presentations are welcome. Academic talks are judged on scientific credibility and practical relevance; practitioner talks on practical impact and the potential for academic collaboration.

All presentations are professionally filmed, edited and posted online, unless the presenter opts out — before or after the presentation.

What did registration include in 2026?

In 2026 the registration price was €1,000, with a discounted rate for full-time academics selected to speak, and complimentary registration available to some journalists. It covered access to all conference activities, lunch, coffee breaks and the networking app.

2027 pricing will be published when registration opens.

Where does 3f take place?

3f 2027 takes place at nhow Amsterdam RAI on 11 June 2027, with a VIP reception at the Sonora Bar the evening of 10 June. The venue is a few minutes' walk from the RAI Amsterdam Convention Center, and is the same venue that hosted the 2026 edition.

What happened at 3f 2025?
