We welcome both academic and fintech/practitioner speakers.
The deadline for academic speakers to apply is Monday, 16 February. Decisions will be communicated by Monday, 16 March.
Fintech/practitioner speakers will be considered on a rolling basis.
The day’s program will be fast-paced, with all presentations approximately 15 minutes long.
The goal of academics’ presentations will be to describe their work in a way that is accessible and compelling not only to other academics, but also to practitioners and journalists, with an emphasis on relevance to the future of finance. Presentations can be based not only on unpublished work but also on recently published work, work-in-progress, research agendas, books etc. Submissions by academics will be evaluated based on scientific credibility and practical relevance.
The goal of practitioners’ presentations (typically by fintech CEOs/founders) will be to describe what they do and key challenges where academic collaborations would be welcome. Submissions by practitioners may include a slide deck rather than a text document and will be evaluated based on practical impact and the potential for academic collaborations.
NB: all presentations will be professionally filmed, edited and posted online, unless the presenter opts out (this can be done ex ante or ex post).

Those applying through the practitioner/fintech track should include a comment on why their work is of interest to academics.
